-Prime Minster was kidnapped a few weeks ago from his hotel room in Tripoli .
-The american ambassador to Libya was assassinated in December 2012.
-The parliament was stormed by armed men during an important vote.

Two years after the death of the Former Libyan dictator Muamar Gaddafi , the country is still struggling to stand on its own feet , sounds familiar?

Libya has ceased to exist as a state to run its citizens affairs , the central government has lost control over most of state owned and run property,  the oil fields which are mainly concentrated to the east of the country and are now under the control of Militia which were rebels once .

These armed gangs have their own law , some of which are Al-Qaeda linked groups and most are Islamic extremists which believe in the Qaeda ideology .

To make matters even worse these militias have got sources of fund which are the fields of oil they control , they sell the oil and generate income to buy arms and insult to injury they break the international embargo on North Korea by striking a deal to supply them with all its oil .

'For those that are hopeless, the country is already Chaotic,  The central government is weak; armed militias roam with impunity; fighting resumed this month around the loyalist town of Bani Walid. In the east of the country is the spectra of radical Islam.'

Rami abed , a Journalist in a london based tv channel said :
"Libya needs enormous support from the international community , this mayhem can not go on for long , it will have major effects on southern European countries , the west do not really care about libya but about its oil , its a sad tale."

Libya as it appears to the world today is second IRAQ which is far from stable, with no control over its borders , economical difficulties , groups of armed gangs roaming its streets in the absence of the central government  , these groups are the armed wings of political parties which did not do well in elections but still believe that they can have their say in all decisions with the use of force and violence that is at its disposal.

to have an insight of the situation on the ground, a group of armed men have kidnapped the prime minister from his hotel room in Tripoli  recently , and a few days ago  another group of gunmen stormed the parliament during a vote to appoint a new prime minister  .

Libyans remain hopeful that their country will be a better place, and that the revolution Values of 2011 will prevail.

Sami Rabhi , 23  , a student at Tripoli university said : “40 years of brain washing and oppression will have side effects on people’s minds , its just a matter of time and things will be alright”.

Gaddafi is dead , The right move was done , its time for Libyans to put aside their political and tribal differences and start building a bright democratic ,stable and strong Libya and prove to the west that their support during the revolution was worth their while.
